Glenn commented on the build Super Tank D3 Build (Updated 1.8.1) with: By default your character holds the shield on left hand. A very good example,would be in a battle engagement you got 1 npc left on your left side but you got more npcs on your right side, by default you are holding your shield on your left hand which would expose your other side. So by switching the shield to right side you are actually blocking the incoming bullets. You will see this a lot in legendary missions.
