This build is better for higher damage pve enemies than my other D3 builds, but it still includes the enduring mask for regeneration. It gives more damage reduction but significantly less health regen in the last segment in this build. Evasive Action actually gives 30% damage reduction for 1.5 seconds as soon as you leave cover on a “cover to cover” maneuver, but if you cancel the motion then you still get a second of damage reduction. All crit stuff is for healing so I chose precision as one of my talents. I included elite damage even though I am all about tankiness because the extra burn, bleed, or shock resistance didn’t help when I was getting shot a ton, and the elite damage improves the crit damage and preserved healing. The ally heal talent can heal your shield and sustain allies when you pop a medkit and the headshot talent that makes bullets have a 50% chance not to be consumed when shot in the enemies head can be useful for your own sustain in the heat of battle. The house gives more healing than the AUG, but I have found that the AUG is hard to beat for its healing when compared to other smgs. I mainly use it to proc predator. Predator can be good on the house but the health on kill is more beneficial because you can finish off enemies with your secondary or sidearm every 20 seconds. With a super healer on your team you could replace the enduring mask with the backpack that makes all healing received also heal the shield. Cover to cover damage reduction can be useful on legendary difficulty especially when regaining your shield. The pulse and damage shield have the most width and coverage so they would be best to use even though you do not get the effects. I prefer the pulsing shield for a bit more coverage on the sides of the shield rather than more height. This is way tankier in harder content with the 5 piece defense rather than the alpha bridge due to the major increase in resistance. It makes the normal enduring strength strong when using self preserved and predatory with it. Incursions are a breeze combat wise.
