Something I have noticed playing a (291) Reclaimer is that we don't do alot of damage compared to our DPS mates or survive 1/5 of the time our tank mates do. We also get focused the moment our pack touches the ground, it's like the NPCs have a kill code for our a**es. This build will make sure you do alot of damage and help you and your team survive a little bit longer.
Gun breakdown:
Caduceus - This gun requires a hell of alot of crit to fully use it's OP talent and it's base stability is amazing for any range burst or full auto. You can dome shot anyone from any distance easy. Plus if you run pulse that helps ur crit alot and makes proc'ing the talent more frequent.
The House - This gun is your meal ticket for your support pack. The idea with this house is for CQB / Rusher time. It grants you crit with use of skill, ideally pulse, and when you drop someone your pack becomes stronger in healing so you basically play "King of My Hill".
Damascus - Ignore this and make it whatever you want, you probably won't ever use it lol.
Skill / Talent breakdown:
Adrenaline - Basic, needed, helps when you play outside your pack and get stuck.
Combat Medic - Staple skill for Healers, let's you heal with Medkits so you can heal a teammate if skills are on CD.
Tech Support - Helps keep your pack running longer in longer fights, or other skills.
Precision - This is a debateable talent, I run it for just the sake of landing random headshots and getting a free pulse on an enemy. It helps.
Skill 1 - Support Station ofc, but make sure you run the Life Support mod, it has the best base HPS so in term has the highest HPS after your stats get altered in.
Skill 2 - Honestly I play around with this one from time to time. Being a Skill based class you can play with them all based on preference and situation. I run either Pulse to help my Caduceus and House and my other teammates, if you run the Tactical Scanner mod that is. I also use the Flame turret and Flashbang Sticky Bomb.
Signature Skill - I use Survivor Link because 9 times out of 10 your PuG or team is going to have Recovery Links out the a** so, it seemed redundant for me to run it and it helps in times of rush due to it's move speed increase and in times of "Oh Sh*t" with your pack and it's damage reduction.
Mods - I use Firearm Mods to help reach the threshold of my guns talents because without the mods I can't use any talents nor do jacksh*t for damage. As far as the Perfoance onces go, with Tech Support you don't really need a duration mod and with the one 7.5% range it usually covers the battlefield on the teams side and some so I advise going 3 Heal Speed mods just due to the fact that Legendaries and Incursions becomes 50x easier when you can face tank atleast 3 people shooting you even with under 3k stamina.
This build isn't meant to make your damage that of a DPS, or your health that of a Tank, it's meant to be a Balance between Healer and DPS. You can help your team push by keeping them alive, ammo full, and immune to the annoying grenade CC while also helping them by dropping some "Lone Wolfs" in the group.
As far a PvP goes, I have done DZ stuff and Last Stand with this build, minor a few changes to skills and talents, but all-and-all it works but your a glass target so it's annoying after awhile.
