Build Guide

Description:

    This build is specifically for Tactician skill users running PvE activities solo. The stat distribution for this build is roughly 4/4/8 as going to at least 3832 Firearms and Stamina allows you to meet requirements for various talents including Destructive and Ferocious. In a perfect world, you would use five gear mods with Damage to Elites to be able to reach 3832 Firearms. Since the only good ones with 4% Damage to Elites recently sold came with 193 Firearms, you have to switch one of the gear mods to a high end one in order to hit the 3832 Firearms requirement. That high end mod will have 3% skill haste on it as the main attribute.

Primary Weapon:

    Your primary weapon will be Lightweight M4/LVOA-C, whichever one you prefer. The top two talents must be Destructive and Ferocious due to the fact that they also apply to your skills while you are holding the weapons with the talents. The free talent I prefer to have on my primary is Predatory due to the fact that it also activates upon skill kills which can be a huge boost as this build has no healing skills equipped relying solely on medkits and Nimble.

Secondary Weapon:

    Your secondary weapon is very similar to your primary. The only difference in weapon talents is having Determined in the free talent slot instead of Predatory just to build signature skill when necessary.

Sidearm:

    First Wave X-45 is my pick just due to its fast fire rate. Roll Coolheaded on it to easily build Signature Skill as well as have Determined to get even more signature skill resources back with kills.

Skills:

    Your skills for this build are BFB Sticky Bomb and Cluster Seekers. With the player talents chosen, you want to use your Sticky Bomb first to take out large groups of mobs which will activate demolition expert and then you use your Cluster Seekers to take out any stragglers as well as proc Shrapnel and Chain Reaction. Now, use Sticky Bomb and repeat the process.

Player Talents:

    Talents are Shrapnel, Chain Reaction, Demolition Expert, and Critical Save are listed on this build. You can switch out Critical Save for Death by Proxy when you are playing against factions that tend to deploy skills as the Skill Power boost from the talent is considerable. Switch one of the weapons out to another with Talented and the combined skill power will get you to the soft cap.

  • You would a need 204 GS weapon which has requirements lower then 2961

  • If you get a blueprint for a lower GS weapon you can run the same weapon talents without investing into FA and STA then go all in on ELE.

  • my BFB doesn't oneshot any Elites, am I doing something wrong?

  • Will this build work with any other knee pads as that is the only classy pc I'm missing?

  • Relentless backpack seems to be a better choice, especially for solo content. I've ran both and relentless is hard to replace

  • Good build. Even with semi decent rolls and not having optimal primary/secondary stats, was still able to solo legendary Napalm on my 4th or 5th try.
