Build Guide

The High End Exotic build (HIxotic, or HExotic).

The build revolves around the damage bonus of Skull MC's, and the talents you choose for your other gear pieces to really shine. basically, its damage on top of damage on top of damage.

Gear:

  • Chest piece: can be Reckless for more damage, Rapid is great for faster CD on your healing skills.
  • Backpack: has to be Specialized, not really a better choice for this build.
  • Mask: I would strongly recommend sticking with Refreshed, but Joe Ferros Oxygen Mask can be a decent choice too. Tenacious is also an option if you want more damage.
  • Gloves: Must be Skulls MC for build to work. ANY set bonuses on your build (including weapon set bonuses) disable the gloves talent.
  • Kneepads: Short-bow's are best in slot, giving you the ability to have your grenades detonate almost instantly. insta-shock grenades anyone?
  • Holster: Steadfast gets your health to regen faster. very nice. Bliss holster is also a nice choice for a small damage boost when shooting with sidearm.

Weapons:

Lightweight M4, or LVOA-C are going to be your go to rifles for this build due to their superior handling and packing a decent rate of fire. Run two of one, or one of each and spec one with the free talent as either Predatory, or Determined. the other weapon should have its free talent be Competent for more damage. Your side arm should spec both predatory and determined. swap to it whenever you can secure a player kill to pop both determined and predatory.

Skills:

use Support Station for immunity, and the percentage healing from its Master Skill. Booster shot for a small health and damage boost, and to proc competent. Recovery Link is always a solid choice if you are running solo, as it basically functions like a Nomads 4 piece.

Talents:

Critical Save, and Strike Back are way too good to pass up. Adrenaline has gotten way better from its previous iteration by giving you Immunity for 7 seconds after using a med-kit. can swap for one is none, or precision. On the Move is excellent, because you gain damage reduction just for moving and killing something.

Very Old-Skool build, extremely powerful back in the day. Still fairly decent as a build, but currently is overshadowed by Classified Strikers, and Classified Nomad builds. Good for PvP or PvE.
