Build Guide

Description: This build provides great PvP damage and survivability for a solo playstyle. As a heads up this build is focusing around fighting rogues and pure PvP thus it won't do so well when DZ landmark farming. However, if you wanted to do that you wouldn't want to be running into rogues anyway.

Primary Weapon: The primary weapon is an exotic you might have heard of, The House. Talents are Responsive, Hurried, Card Counter. The main reason we pick this in the primary is for its exotic perk Card Counter. You won't have the upper hand against a fully stacked Striker but this damage bonus can help turn it in your favour. The perks on this weapon are all about giving you an edge in drawn out fights and engagements that you pick so playing around these talents is vital - you want to be up close.

Secondary Weapon: Any secondary works with this build. I particularly like using the LWM4 with Responsive, Unforgiving, Competent as I will likely be using this weapon when in a pinch. You can swap Competent out for Deadly or Fierce depending on your playstyle and how you want to slot this secondary weapon into it.

Alternative Weapons: The Showstopper, LVOA-C and MP5 ST are all appropriate alternates to the weapons mentioned above as long as the follow a similar talent set up.

Pistol: The purpose of using a Sawed Off Shotgun is split into 2 reasons, the first being a last resort and is perhaps the most obvious one but the second reason is for survivability. Switching to this before doing a Melee Takedown will proc Predatory and Determined on yourself letting you stay alive for longer in a continuous fight for longer resulting in a more obnoxious Nomad player than before. Doing this is vital when your Signature Skill is on cooldown.

Skills: You can run any skills you want. However, the ones above are my suggestion and the ones I frequently run when in Last Stand or Skirmish. Feel free to swap out either one for conceal pulse when in the DZ.

Character Talents: Adrenaline is a must when fighting multiple players, combining this with Nomads Luck will make you pretty unkillable when played correctly. Critical Save helps you resist a bit of damage if you use a medkit in a hairy situation. Strike Back goes well with the Nomad gear set and if lady luck is in your favour you can get a Signature Skill back in under a minute. Fear Tactics when running a shock turret otherwise On The Move or Precision can be taken.
